The '''micro-macro link''' (MML) problem in sociology and distributed artificial intelligence (DAI) is the connection of [[Microlevel|microscopic]] and [[Macrolevel|macroscopic]] levels, how actors give rise to macroscopic social patterns and structures, and how these structures influence in turn individual actors.
