The CAS Group is a community for people interested 
in the science and [[Basic_System_Theory|theory]] of complex systems 
and the special case of [[Complex_Adaptive_Systems|complex adaptive systems]].
CASs are 'complex' - they are diverse and made up of 
multiple interconnected elements - and 'adaptive' - they 
have the capacity to change and learn from experience.
