A social network is a social structure of a community. It consists of nodes, agents or individuals which are connected by a specific type of relationship, such as friendship, kinship or following. In its simplest form, a social network is simply a set of specific links, which correspond to friends or followers, between a set of social objects, such as persons. This set can be described as a graph or network. Followers of a certain person, individual or node can develop (or appear as) a kind of hive mind.
