Cultural Evolution

In its broadest sense cultural evolution describes how cultures and societies have developed over time. Genes are not the only form of replicators, and biological evolution is not the only form of evolution. There are also memes in analogy with genes, and there is also cultural and cosmic evolution. Cultural evolution captures the changes in the ways, means, actions, and ideas that form a society, including their transmission from one generation to another.
