Adaptive System

Adaptive Systems are systems with the ability of adaptation. They can adjust themselves to various environments or conditions, and can change themselves to improve and optimize their performance. They are also able to learn from past experiences. Adaptive means something can change itself over time to improve its fitness, performance or accuracy. In other words something is adaptive if it is able to learn. adaptation is a property of many intelligent systems, especially intelligent agents and neural networks.
