Context Dependence
From CasGroup
Context dependence exists when the state of a system or the outcome of a process depends on its current context or environment. It is certainly a property of many complex adaptive systems. Apparently, adaptive systems are path dependent and context dependent. Depending on the context of the system, the behavior, experience and outcomes may vary.
